On Tuesday, February 13th, 120 guests from across Alberta gathered at the stunning Willow Lane Barn in Olds to celebrate Canada’s Agriculture Day.  Meet in the Middle – a collaboration of 20 industry partners – aimed to educate consumers about where their food comes from, and share in meaningful conversations about agriculture in Alberta. Their relevance is more poignant than ever, the connections between them and the consumer are more important than ever because they feed our province, country, and the world!

Follow the conversations on the Twitter and Instagram accounts (@aseatatourtable) as they share agricultural facts and information. You’ll be surprised at the rich agricultural history of our province and amazed at how it has changed over time. What’s on your plate is only half the story – the rest is a part of Alberta’s agricultural history. Engage, listen, ask questions. Get to know where the food on your plate comes from and ensure that there’s plenty to go around for future generations.
