Exploring the experiences and cultural significance of the bison

Are you a bison farm that loves to welcome visitors? Maybe you’re a restaurant that serves up a killer bison dish? Do you create beautiful works of art using or featuring bison? Perhaps you are a butcher showcasing beautiful bison cuts?

If you answered yes to any of the above, then we have a fantastic promotional opportunity for you!

The next culinary trail to be developed by the Alberta Culinary Tourism Alliance is The Bison Trail - an exploration of bison experiences and cultural significance in Alberta. We are looking for a variety of local businesses and experiences that showcase the many facets of the majestic bison, including:

• Bison Farms & Ranches that host public events/tours (or are interested in starting this)
• Retailers (Butchers/Grocers) that sell Bison meat & processed foods
• Restaurants with bison on the menu year-round
• Artists/Artisans (non-food) using or featuring bison
• Educational sites that have regular displays dedicated to bison
• Festivals and events celebrating bison
• Parks or other sites where you can see bison

If you match any of the above categories and are interested in joining the bison trail, please click on the appropriate link below to fill out our online form BEFORE January 5th, 2018. Following that deadline, we will be contacting the applicants to review their information and advise as to next steps.
