ACTA Year in Review 2014

2014 was an exciting year for the Alberta Culinary Tourism Alliance! Not only has our organization grown to provide more support and resources to the culinary tourism industry in Alberta, but we have forged many partnerships to bring even more interesting and engaging culinary experiences to Alberta in the new year.

2014 HIGHLIGHTS

• 61 chefs were activated at 8 Alberta Ate Chef Collaborative events throughout the province and abroad, from Medicine Hat to Jasper, and Markerville to Toronto.

  • Taste of Edmonton President’s Reception
  • Taste of Markerville Long Table Dinner
  • Famous 5 Foundation Belles & Bootleggers Gala
  • Dig In Horticulinary Festival Gala Dinner
  • Jasper Dark Sky Festival Dinner
• ACTA also supported over a dozen other event activations across the province, including Relish Food on Film Festival, the AFMA cookbook “From the Farm”, the Bison Conservation, Culture & Culinary Festival at Elk Island National Park, and City Palate’s Pig & Pinot Festival.
