Check out Two Sergeants Brewing on the #SippinAlberta Culinary Trail.
It was a dream brewed up over a beer in a Fort Saskatchewan garage. The story starts with Kevin Moore and Keith Edwards having beer in August 2014. Both military men, Kevin remarked that he always dreamed of owning his own brewery, and Keith said his dream was owning a pub. In fact, Moore had been homebrewing for about 10 years using various online recipes. Over time, it started to become more than just a hobby. People would come in and try the beer in his basement and say “That’s good beer, you could sell that beer!”
18 months later after many test brews, tastings and hard work, The Two Sergeants Brewery and Taphouse is in full operation in downtown Fort Saskatchewan with 3 Beers and more seasonal varieties coming in 2016. Watch for them around the province at special events and tastings.
At their bulding in Fort Saskatchewan, you can feel like your part of the brewing process. You can see it, smell it and enjoy drinking the same beer that is brewing only a few feet away from you. That’s an important part of the unique experience at the Two Sergeants Taphouse.
PATROLMAN’S ESB
This is an easy drinking classic English Bitter. Brewed in memory of fallen Edmonton Police Service Constable Woodall, a portion of the profits of the brew go to directly to The Woodall Family Fund. Dark and and aromatic with hints of caramel and roasted coffee, this malt forward brew finishes clean and dry.
