Peas on Earth Certified Organic Garden was officially founded by Eric and Ruby Chen in 2000. With their passion for providing the community with healthy, organic and delicious vegetables, Eric and Ruby combined their loves for farming and business to create Peas on Earth. Since then, the couple has put their hearts and souls into nurturing and growing their business. They hope that with their endless efforts, people can grow more aware of the benefits of eating organic. Eric and Ruby want to do their share towards the community by providing alternatives to chemically treated and genetically modified foods. They believe that a healthy body and mind starts with good, healthy food.
Operating on a farm just outside Edmonton, Peas on Earth not only grows traditional Western vegetables, but also grows a variety of different vegetables from around the world. Baby corn, bok choy, rapini, and gogi berries are only a few selections out of what they have to order. Operating at three farmers’ market locations (Strathcona, St. Albert and Callingwood) and supplying Organic Box, and organic food home delivery program, Peas on Earth hopes to spread their love for beautiful, tasty organic vegetables around their community.
