Chef Peter Syriste is a graduate from the Hotel College in Marienbad-Spa, Czech Republic. With cooking knowledge that is well rounded through global influences from positions he has held in Russia, Germany, Austria and Canada he adds his own style to dishes with keeping to European traditions.
Peter immigrated to Canada in 1991 and holds his Certified Chef De Cuisine Certification, he was the Calgary Academy Chef of the year in 2011 and was an Advisory Board Member for the SAIT Culinary program. He has been the Executive Chef at Fort Calgary and The Deane House Restaurant since 2007.
