Her culinary journey began in 2007 when she enrolled in the Southern Alberta Institute of Technology (S.A.I.T), graduating top of her class with honours. During this time, Gaby competed in Skills Canada, where she was awarded Silver (2007), as well as competing in the prestigious Chaine Des Rotisseurs Jaunes competition (2008). Her passion for competing later led her to compete in the Food Network show, Top Chef Canada (Season 4 competitor, 2014).
Gaby currently holds the position of Wine Cellar Chef, Junior Sous Chef at the Calgary Petroleum Club.
