Born and raised in Thailand, after graduating high school, Boonying Khumdha knew he wanted to pursue a career in the culinary arts. He obtained his degree in Culinary Arts & Hotel Management, and almost immediately left his homeland to work abroad in various countries. He has worked in India, Germany, the United States, on cruise lines, and most recently, he has lived and worked in Paris, France, for the last 10 years before coming to Canada 7 months ago. He values the experience and knowledge of culture and foods gained from his many travels, and is now enjoying his time learning Canadian culture! He is married and has 3 beautiful children.
