Craft Beverage Trail named finalist for Travel Alberta Alto Award

Sippin’ Alberta finalist for Alto Marketing Excellence Award – Under $10,000

The Alto Marketing Excellence Award recognizes creative marketing campaigns that encourage travel to, and within, Alberta. Emphasis is on original and effective campaigns that push the boundaries of common current practices and result in greater than expected return on investment. Total budget for the campaign or project must be equal to or less than $10,000.

Marketing Excellence (Up to $10,000) finalists are:

  • “Fantasyland Hotel Flash Sale”, West Edmonton Mall, Edmonton 
  • “Sippin’ Alberta Craft Beverage Trail”, Alberta Culinary Tourism Alliance, Calgary
  • “Things to do in Okotoks!”, Town of Okotoks, Okotoks

Alberta Culinary Tourism Alliance was the winner of a 2016 Alto Award for Collaborative Tourism for the Cook It Raw Alberta program.

The Alto Awards recognize individuals and organizations committed to enriching Alberta’s tourism industry and who by their actions inspire others and demonstrate what can be achieved by working together. The Alto Awards will be presented in nine categories, and to the 2017 Alto Ambassador, at the Alto Awards gala, October 23, 2017, in conjunction with the 17th annual Travel Alberta Industry Conference in Banff, October 22-24, 2017.

Alberta’s Alto Award finalists have been announced, recognizing 26 tourism operators and organizations across Alberta for great service, marketing and more.
