Calgary chef wins Top Chef Canada: All-Stars
After 10 grueling showdowns and elimination challenges, Chef Nicole Gomes (Nicole Gourmet & Cluck n Cleaver) of Calgary emerged victorious on this season of Food Network Canada’s Top Chef Canada: All-Stars. On a season featuring some of the toughest competitors from previous seasons of Top Chef Canada, Chef Nicole let her passion shine through, which led her to three Quickfire wins and two Elimination Challenge wins before taking the crown at the finale over Season 1 veteran Dustin Gallagher of Toronto.
Chef Nicole’s win marks the first time an Albertan chef has won the title of Top Chef Canada in the series. The previous best finish was Chef Connie DeSousa of Charcut’s 3rd place finish on Season 1 (Chef Connie also appeared in this season, eliminated in week 7).
