4 Alberta restaurants make Canada’s Best New Restaurants for 2017
Albertans have seen a huge shift in our culinary landscape over the past decade, and the rest of the country is starting to take note. This past week, enRoute (by Air Canada) released the winners of Canada’s Best New Restaurants for 2017, and in the Top 10 are four of Alberta’s top new spots. This is a huge accomplishment for Alberta, as we nudged out Ontario for the province with the most in the Top 10.
Coming in at #3, Calgary’s Bar Von Der Fels took the top Alberta spot, with Edmonton’s Clementine and Café Linnea coming in at #5 and #6 respectively. Edmonton’s Alder Room rounded out the group at #10.
An additional three Alberta restaurants were also in the running, including Chartier (Beaumont), Deane House (Calgary), and Hayloft (Airdrie).
Restaurants that launched between late spring 2016 and June 2017 are eligible for consideration.
